Mission Statement

The Usher/Greeters Department is committed to creating a welcoming, orderly, and reverent atmosphere in God’s house. Through hospitality, guidance, and service, we ensure that every worshiper experiences warmth, comfort, and the love of Christ from the moment they step into the church.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Welcoming & Hospitality

   • Greet and welcome all worshippers with a warm smile and friendly attitude.

   • Assist first-time visitors, making them feel at home and valued.

   • Provide information about church services, programs, and facilities.

2. Seating & Orderliness

   • Guide congregants to their seats efficiently and respectfully.

   • Ensure proper arrangement of chairs and maintain order during services.

   • Assist in seating special guests, elderly members, and individuals with disabilities.

3. Offering Collection & Security

   • Coordinate the smooth collection of tithes, offerings, and special donations.

   • Maintain vigilance to ensure the safety and security of worshippers.

   • Assist in handling emergencies and maintaining order during church programs.

4. Service Flow & Assistance

   • Ensure smooth transitions between different segments of the service.

   • Assist pastors, guest speakers, and other ministers as needed.

   • Distribute church materials such as bulletins, hymnals, and offering envelopes.

5. Prayer & Spiritual Growth

   • Uphold the church and its members in prayer before, during, and after services.

   • Serve with humility, discipline, and a heart for ministry.

   • Encourage an atmosphere of reverence, joy, and spiritual readiness.
