Mission Statement

The Choir Department is dedicated to leading the congregation in worship through spirit-filled music that glorifies God, uplifts souls, and creates an atmosphere of divine encounter. Through songs of praise, hymns, and worship, we seek to inspire and draw hearts closer to God.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Worship Leadership

   • Lead the church in vibrant and anointed praise and worship sessions.

   • Create a worship atmosphere that invites the presence of the Holy Spirit.

   • Encourage full congregation participation in worship.

2. Music Preparation & Rehearsals

   • Organize and attend regular choir rehearsals for excellence in performance.

   • Learn and practice hymns, contemporary gospel songs, and worship music.

   • Ensure musical arrangements align with church teachings and worship style.

3. Special Ministration & Events

   • Prepare special music performances for church events, revivals, and conferences.

   • Minister through songs during weddings, funerals, and special services.

   • Collaborate with other departments for drama and musical presentations.

4. Spiritual Growth & Unity

   • Encourage members to live a life of holiness and dedication to God.

   • Foster a spirit of unity, discipline, and humility within the choir.

   • Regularly pray together for divine inspiration and anointing in ministry.

5. Technical Coordination

   • Work closely with the Technical/Maintenance Department for sound quality and proper setup.

   • Assist in selecting appropriate musical instruments and sound systems for effective ministration.
