Mission Statement

The Children’s Department is committed to nurturing young hearts and minds in the love of Christ, laying a strong biblical foundation that will guide them throughout their lives. We provide a safe, fun, and spiritually enriching environment where children can learn about God, grow in faith, and develop Christ-like character.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Spiritual Nurturing

   • Teach children the Word of God through engaging Bible stories, lessons, and memory verses.

   • Encourage prayer, worship, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

   • Instill Christian values such as love, kindness, obedience, and respect.

2. Christian Education & Activities

   • Organize Sunday School classes and Bible study sessions for different age groups.

   • Conduct interactive and creative learning activities, including skits, role-playing, and arts & crafts.

   • Plan fun and faith-based games that reinforce biblical teachings.

3. Child-Friendly Worship Services

   • Lead children in praise and worship, teaching them songs that glorify God.

   • Encourage participation in church services through recitations, choir presentations, and drama.

   • Provide age-appropriate lessons that align with the church’s message and values.

4. Parental Engagement & Support

   • Partner with parents to reinforce biblical teachings at home.

   • Provide resources and guidance on Christian parenting.

   • Host family-focused events to strengthen faith-based relationships.

5. Safety & Well-being

   • Ensure a secure, welcoming, and child-friendly environment.

   • Train teachers and volunteers on child safety and proper caregiving.

   • Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and encouragement among children.

We believe that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3) and must be nurtured with care and godly wisdom. As a department, we commit to:
